Freebie quickie: Eyeshadows, eyes, and jewellery gifts at Musa!

Freebie quickie: Eyeshadows, eyes, and jewellery gifts at Musa!

  • Works for both mesh bodies and classic avatars
  • No-spend look (absolutely free!)

Hi peeps!

Another post from me today, to give a quick heads-up of some great little makeup, eye, and jewellery freebies at Musa! This link will take you upstairs at the store and, if you look on the wall by the stairs, you’ll see some lovely eyeshadows. Under the main images the word ‘tester’ is in mesh letters. Click that, and you get a wearable freebie single-colour sample of that eyeshadow!

The ones with ‘demo’ underneath them have ‘demo’ written somewhere on the face, but the ‘tester’ ones are fully wearable. As a bonus, they include not only Omega appliers (which will work on any mesh head, with the correct Omega relay) but also tattoo layer makeup for classic avatars!

Then, if you turn to the left, you’ll find more testers, this time for two pairs of eyes. As before, click the word ‘tester’ and – as before – you’ll get applier and system eye versions in a single colour :)

Finally, cam downstairs to find the Subscribe-o-matic kiosk. If you join up (it’s free and doesn’t take up a group slot) you’ll get a gorgeous eyeshadow palette in 8 colours (Omega appliers and tattoo layers) plus some earrings with a massive 16-colour customisable HUD plus 5 metal options!

Fish up a bag of goodies at Sn@tch!

Fish up a bag of goodies at Sn@tch!

  • Mesh body parts required for some items, but not all
  • Minimal spend look (initial purchase of fishing rod required for most items)

Hi peeps!

Let’s get this out of the way first: you have no idea how much of a struggle it was not to turn that headline into a joke about having a fishy Sn@tch. No idea at all ;)

ANYway!

In yesterday’s post about the lucky boards at Sn@tch I mentioned that the ‘Fish for This’ outfit was probably going to be changed out at the weekend, which was why I wasn’t going to blog about it. But it turns out there’s another week to go! So here’s a blog post about some of the items you can win if you have a 7 Seas Fishing Rod and park your butt at Sn@tch to cast for the New Year Grab Bag of goodies.

There are 20 items to fish for, and they include clothing, hair, footwear, and decor items, including some very generous colour and texture-change HUDs. But, before we get into what you can catch, you’re possibly wondering how the heck you fish for this stuff! Hop behind the cut for info and then for pics of some of the items :)

Do you have a lucky Sn@tch?

Do you have a lucky Sn@tch?

  • Mesh body parts required (except for the Baby Monkey boots, which also work for classic avatars)
  • Minimal spend look (most of it’s free!)

Hi peeps!

The lucky boards at Sn@tch have been refilled with new goodies, so I sent Mar over there to plunk her butt on a chair and play the “I can click faster than you can!” game, while at the same time doing some last-minute fishing for the Sn@tch “Fish for This” goody bag of 20 random items. (I won’t blog any of that, because I think it changes over today, so I’ll probably send her back again to fish for the new outfit tonight).

I’m just going to show some of the fabby new lucky board items in this post. Most of them come with multiple-colour HUDs, and the mesh items come rigged for several bodies as well as Standard Sizing.

First up, this lovely snuggly Wilora argyle dress, which comes with an 8-colour HUD for changing textures. Mar has teamed it with these fantastic Anais Tall Boots by Baby Monkey, which are just 10L$ on Marketplace, for a super-generous 32-colour HUD (including brights, jewel tones, neutrals, and soft pastel shades). These are especially fab because they can be worth either with Slink High feet or on a classic avatar!

Next, for a super-sexy Dita Von Teese look, the Ava Bustier & Pencil Skirt. The skirt is black-only, but you get a generous 8-colour Omega HUD for the top (and, for classic avatars, clothing layers, too!) Mar has teamed it withe the JLO Heels by Legendaire, which are 59L$ in the ‘Recommended’ section of the Legendaire in-world store (head toward the Outlet area to find it). They come with two HUD options: 10 plain colours (with the ability to mix and match between the upper, insole, and heel) and 4 pattern options for the shoe upper. They fit Slink High, Maitreya, and Belleza feet.

This gorgeous Taban Brocade Poncho is also in the Sn@tch lucky board, with a 10-colour HUD that’s filled with lovely colour options.

Bring your Daisy Duke attitude with this great little Omega applier set. The Connor Tied Flannel Top comes with a 12-colour HUD, as well as a bonus pair of jean shorts! And for classic avatars these also come in clothing layers :)

Next up, this drop-dead-sexy dress with a tentacle twist and a 12-colour HUD!

And, lastly but not leastly (totally a phrase that I didn’t just make up) this cute-as-a-button Crushed Silk Pouf Dress with… erm NOT a 5-colour HUD as stated in the image below but a TEN-colour HUD (oops!)

Mar’s hair throughout this look is Truth’s December 2017 VIP gift: Tinsley. If you can scrape up the 350L$ to join this group it’s sooooo worth it. Every month you get a massive fatpack of exclusive Truth hair with multiple styling options!

Ooh, Shiny! Applier gifties galore at Shiny Stuffs!

Ooh, Shiny! Applier gifties galore at Shiny Stuffs!

  • Mesh body parts required; these appliers will only work on mesh heads!
  • Minimal spend look; absolutely free!

Hi peeps! Well, today Mar got a slightly-belated Christmas present: the Catya Bento mesh head by Catwa. I’ve had my eye on it for ages, and finally splurged on it, as well as a discount skin applier by Deetalez. I’m absolutely thrilled to bits with how she looks now! This is her new bare-face look:

So, of course, now I’m on the hunt for cheap and free Catwa appliers, and wow did I find a little treasure trove tucked away in the prettiest store I think I’ve ever seen in SL. If you’re after gorgeous makeup appliers for Catwa, Lelutka, and Genesis mesh heads (as well as a plethora of nail appliers for Maitreya hands) look no further than the delightful Shiny Stuffs!

Hop behind the cut for pics and info :)

Can you get a full mesh body avatar look for just L$1? Yep!

Can you get a full mesh body avatar look for just L$1? Yep!

  • Mesh body parts required, well… because this IS about a mesh body!
  • Minimal spend look, just L$1!

Hi peeps!

Mesh bodies and heads have hit the grid in a big way over the past couple of years, but the one thing most of them have in common is that they’re flippin’ expensive! Not good when you’re trying to live an SL4Nowt-y kind of life, but I have a solution for you, and it’s the free mesh body by The Mesh Project.

The body is feature-limited (as you would expect from a free version of something that normally costs several thousands of L$!) but it comes with a lovely selection of skins, plus a free dress and three heights of feet. I’ve even found a pair of dollarbie heels on the Marketplace, which match the colours in the dress and work with the free version’s Style Mode HUD!

Here, Mar is wearing a combination of the Linden Lab default avatars ‘Shawna’ and ‘Maria’ (which we all have in our inventories). The colour match with the TMP skin tone is 99% perfect, which was a fabby surprise that I really wasn’t expecting!

(Note: The dark line down the inside of her arm in the following pic is a shadow, not a flaw in the body or its skin.)

Mar has teamed it with some gorgeous freebie jewellery by RealEvil:

And some great dollarbie heels for TMP Mid feet by Horacia Hoof of H.H. Designs:

Lastly, the hair in the first piccy (and the one below) is from Rezology at The Free Dove, and – again – is absolutely free!

Hop behind the cut, because shopping for the TMP freebie and then styling it using their Style Mode HUD is a little bit complicated, so I’ve create a tutorial to help you out :)

Group Gifties Galore from Legendaire!

Group Gifties Galore from Legendaire!

Hi, peeps!

Yesterday I promised to blog more about the group gifts from Legendaire, but after heading back to the store today I realised it would take several posts to show the gazillions (ok, lots – lol!) of things you can grab from there, all for the measly cost of the L$49 group join fee. So instead of putting on lots of clothes, I’ve taken screenshots of all the gift walls so you can see how generous this group is!

  • No mesh body or body parts required. Many of these work for classic avatars! (Also with several mesh bodies and heeled feet.)
  • Minimal spend look. Just L$49 for the group join fee!

First up, as you enter the store you’ll find this wall full of the current gifts. Most of these are full outfits that come with footwear as well as fitting several mesh bodies and standard sizing:

The group join kiosk is just there to the right. And once you’ve picked up all of those, take that teleporter to the Freebies and Discounts section of the store, where you’ll find two more walls of free stuff!

Outfits, accessories, heels… you name it, it’s there! You’ll also find some L$10 ‘mystery prize’ boxes dotted around the store, and in the lobby area where you first enter, on the far wall to your left, you’ll find another lot of cheapie deals for the various weekly events like 50L Friday.

Here’s your taxi to Legendaire, and here’s a link to join the group (join cost of L$49). Have fun filling up your inventory!

A quick gifty from Legendaire

A quick gifty from Legendaire

Hi, peeps! No, I haven’t forgotten you. I’ve just been really busy lately! However, as you’ll see from the pic in this post, Mar finally has a mesh head – yay! Lots of pulling of gacha machine handles at the Arcade got her a gorgeous head from Genesis Lab, plus several different skin appliers and makeups.

Anyway, this quicky post isn’t about the head. It’s about this sexy group gift from Legendaire. The group costs L$49 to join and there’s a metric crapton (which is totally a real weight!) of gifts at the store, in two different locations. I’ll be blogging a few more of them hopefully over the next week or so, but I wanted to make a quick post-and-run just so you knew I’d not disappeared completely off the grid again!

  • No mesh body or body parts required. This one works for classic avatars! (Also with several mesh bodies; see the pic below)
  • Minimal spend look. Just L$49 for the group join fee!

This particular gift is a shirt and miniskirt outfit called Amaya 2. As shown on the image, the shirt and skirt come in fits for Standard Sizing (which classic avatars can wear), Slink, and Maitreya. There’s a HUD for both, which gives four single-colour options for the shirt and four patterns for the skirt.

I didn’t get a pic of the boots, which are really nice knee-high platform ones of black leather with gold buckles, but those have fits for classic avatars, Slink Physique and Hourglass, Belleza Isis and Freya, and Maitreya.

Back soon with more posts and pics, I promise :)

Shine On

Shine On

Aaaand the second post from me today is a lovely group gifty skin and shape pack from Shine!

  • No mesh body or body parts required. This one works for classic avatars!
  • No spend look. Completely free!

This pretty skin is part of a six-makeup pack of the ‘Amy’ skin in tan, which is a group gift right now at Shine. Join the Shine group (it’s free!) and head to the store, and you’ll find the group gift on the back wall. Just to your right – if you have a mesh body – you’ll also find appliers (all skin tones in one HUD) for most mesh bodies as well as Slink hands and feet, for just L$10 each. (The Slink body applier also works with hands and feet; the separate hands/feet appliers are for people who have those but don’t have the body.) As well as the six skins, you’ll also find in the folder a (no-modify) shape, lots of different freckle, cleavage, pubic hair, and teeth tattoos, and a brow shaper. Mar is wearing the shape and the ‘smokey’ makeup skin for this post.

Right now, due to the time constraints of a brand new small person in her life, Love Foxdale of Shine can’t devote the time that she would like to SL, and so she’s put out this gorgeous group gifty and is also hosting a sale at her store (all clothing items are 90% off!) while she decides whether to retain a small in-world store or move to Marketplace-only until she’s ready to return to SL on a more regular basis.

Thank you for the gift, Love, and enjoy every minute with your new precious baby girl. They grow up so fast!

Slinky cheapies at Legendaire

Slinky cheapies at Legendaire

Partial mesh body or body parts required (for the shoes). Otherwise, this one works for classic avatars!
Minimal spend look. Just L$10!

Hi, peeps!

Yesterday I visited Legendaire (mainly because of their gorgeous freebie gown at The Free Dove, which I loved so much I decided to check out the rest of their store) and I found a goldmine of cheapies and group gifts! I’m just showing you one cheapie today, which is perfect for a last-minute date night look for Valentine’s Day.

Rezzed out on the floor throughout the Legendaire store are several pink and black heart boxes, each costing L$10. They contain shoes, outfits, and even a couple of cute holdable pets. If you walk right through the store to the discount room, at the very back wall you’ll find the box that contains this Era Dress and Heels. This link should take you directly there (or at least give you a red arrow to follow and find the box.)

It comes with a HUD to change the dress into four different styles, as shown below:

I’ll be showing you some more of the goodies from Legendaire soon, but I have one last slinky gift to show in this post, and that’s a group gift from Amacci. It’s a sleek bun and hairbase set. You’ll need to join the Amacci group (it’s free to join; paste this link into chat and click it) and have your tag active as you click the group gift vendor. (Pick up the gorgeous heels available, too!)

This is a whopping fatpack available in all colours, and don’t forget that you can use those hairbases for other looks! (You can never have enough hairbases, I always say.)

Get lucky at Snowpaws!

Get lucky at Snowpaws!

  • No mesh body or body parts required. This one works for classic avatars!
  • No spend look. Completely free!

Hi, peeps!

There’s a veritable plethora of lucky boards, lucky chairs, Midnight Mania, and Mini Mania options at Snowpaws, and today I’m showing you just a few of the lovely items I’ve picked up there in the past few days. No text, since it’s all on the images. Teleport to Snowpaws and see what you can win!
