I haven’t done a vintage fashion post in an age, and certainly not on the new blog. So here are some lovely vintage freebie fashion finds for you.<\/p>\n

Hop behind the cut!<\/p>\n

First up, a great place to go if you want vintage frocks, and that’s the Icing<\/a> mainstore at Mischief Cove. Inside, in the corner, you’ll find the freebie closet, containing (among other things) three beautiful free dresses. Make sure you grab the shoes and the lovely pearl bracelet there, too!<\/p>\n

This is the oh-so-pretty Pizzicato Poppies<\/em> dress, and it’s perfect not only for vintagewear, but also for trips to the beach and going out shopping. Mar’s teamed it with the L$1 Jamie Pumps<\/em> from Sole Sisters (available here<\/a> on SL marketplace).<\/p>\n

Next up is the Petit Baiser<\/em> dress, and again this one will do double (and more!) duty for you. Same shoes as before.<\/p>\n

And lastly from Icing, the Night Mist<\/em> dress. A little more evening-y, and perfect for parties, dances and cocktails. Mar’s shoes here are from the Jane<\/em> fatpack of pumps, free on SL Marketplace (here<\/a>) by Tesla.<\/p>\n

Now we’re heading to the FabFree<\/a> store, to pick up this lovely free Camille<\/em> dress by Petunia’s, which has such a nice prim bow detail at the back that I wanted to include it in the picture. Mar’s also wearing the L$10 Black and Tartan Ballerinas<\/em> from Luce Gold (here<\/a> on SL Marketplace).<\/p>\n

Lastly, we’re going to hop to the Ivalde<\/a> mainstore. Go into the room directly in front of the landing spot and click the group join pillar on your right. Once you’ve joined (it’s a free-to-join group) make sure your group tag is enabled, and go wild on the past group gift wall! There are tons<\/em> of lovely dresses there for you to get, from little short frocks to elegant evening gowns. Mar’s just got a few here to show you.<\/p>\n

The May group is a pretty little white frock that’s perfect for parties.<\/p>\n

June’s is for running through summer meadows!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

July’s is a fabby vintage shorts and top set. Mar’s currently wearing this look, as it’s perfect for schlepping around the grid on a muggy day (like today is IRL here, and I’m sure I’m not the only person who dresses their SL avatar according to the RL weather!).<\/p>\n

Finally, the April group gift is a lovely one for wandering around some of SL’s beautiful garden sims, such as Forest Feast or the Botanical Gardens.<\/p>\n

In all of these pics, Mar’s hair is by Truth, her skin is by Exodi, and her poses are by Glitterati.<\/p>\n
